As promised, we had clear and crisp day for an innaugural AOC event at Southside Park.  Amy's dog Sophie led the way while Amy's arm got longer and longer.  The pace was brisk until April's flu caught up with her and she had to return to her car. Tough break, and I hope she fels better soon. Richard reports she was doing better by the time she left.  It's been a tough winter!

The rest of us marched along uneventfully with no deer sightings and lots of friendly mountain bikers. I got to visit with most people as I "led from the middle," as is my style. Andrea took lots of pictures, so there may be a nice photo album on the Facebook page.  It was a pleasure to meet so many new friends, and a couple of folks I've joined several times. Thanks also to Richard for nudging me to co-lead the event and get me off my tookas, and for accompanying April back to the trailhead.
