Happy President's Day! We were honored to have our own AOC president (Mike Collett) on today's hike at Sweetwater Creek!

The weather was perfect for our hike - - bright sun, a little chill to the air, and low humidity. We couldn't have planned it any better.

Chris was in town just for a short time (she's living in California now), and sadly, Fia had to be left at home. It was great to see Chris, though, and to explore the newly improved Red Trail with her. Warning: though the Red Trail has lots of nice new stairs and rails, it is still a very technical, rocky trail that is not suitable for timid hikers.

We enjoyed meeting two new members today - - John and Kirsten. They fit in well with the group; everyone kept up well throughout the hike. ~ Joyce
