The weather was hot and muggy. We walked the perimeter of the Garden in a counterclockwise direction. We left the Welcome Center  and headed to the Manor House, then went to the Inspiration Gardens, it was much better than in March. We proceeded to Fern Dell, with lots of ferns. Our next stop was the Wildflower Meadow, with the early wildflowers blowing, a quick walkthrough the Day Lilly Gardens and the Rose Gardens both in various stages of bloom. This finished the perimeter. We now headed though the center of the Garden, first looking at the Waterlily Garden, they are starting to bloom, then to the Grandchildren’s Sculpture Garden. We took several different paths though the Japanese Garden and returned to the entrance once again enjoying the Waterlily Garden as we left.
