What a surprise! Without my knowledge, members organized a tailgate party to celebrate my 2800th event. (I wasn't planning a celebration event till I reach 3000 in a year or so.) Shirley and Lee created a terrific sign, which I held for pictures before the hike.

The air was chilly, and we had a pretty strong wind, but after our warmup hill, those were appreciated. We took a route past the parking lot so that jackets could be taken off. We were well warmed up!

Susan was first up the warm-up hill, with no challengers.
