What a wonderful celebration we had for Doug's 700th AOC event! We had a very pleasant hike around the park, ending with a pass through the Waller Extension. Though there was a 20% chance of rain, we didn't have a drop. Just cloudy skies, which was great for keeping us cool.

It was so nice to finally meet Russ's special friend, Sheryl, who joined us on her first AOC event.

We saw lots of blooming plants and tried to identify a couple of elusive ones. It's so much fun to see the variety of plants and flowers popping out throughout the park.

Following our hike, we set up my trunk with all kinds of great food items brought by members. We stayed to socialize and eat for over a half hour after the hike.
