Write Up:
It was a stormy afternoon and we weren't sure if we would get this one in until the last minute. But we ended up getting lucky and timed it perfectly.  The rain had cooled everything off and temps were in the low 70s when we started out. 

There were still a lot of "angry" clouds above and they added a lot of personality to the skies (see pics).   We had a nice small group of six and enjoyed talking to everyone at length on this little 4 mile hike.   Also saw a rainbow on the drive to the park which started it on the right note for sure.  We saw a deer and a little snake on the hike but both were too swift to capture in a good photo in the fading light....
