Mon, Apr 29 2024 - A Spring Hike to Two Waterfalls: Raven Cliff and Dukes Creek Falls (View Original Event Details)
|
We were 8 t10 miles from the trailhead when we encountered light rain. Upon arriving at the trailhead, it was cloudy and looked like it might rain again. Once we were about a quarter of a mile into the hike the sun came out and it became a great day for hiking.
We stopped at Raven Cliff Falls and had an enjoyable lunch and returned to the parking lot. From there we drove to Duke Creek Falls and enjoyed another spectacular North Georgia Waterfall. The question was asked could we hike from Raven Cliff to Dukes Creek without driving. As you can see by the trace with both trails there is no trail connecting them. You must drive 1.1 miles between the trailheads.
