Oh, what a fine day it was! It was Tracy's 400th AOC event, and after one rain cancellation last week, it was great to get it in today. The weather was on the warm side, but no one complained, and we manage to get in around 5.3 - 5.5 miles - - just fine. It was SO nice to have Lee back from his 3-week vacation with Shirley. This album size is a large one thanks to all of the pictures Lee added to the album. Plus, there's a link at the end for a Relive video of the hike, which Lee made to celebrate Tracy's milestone. The Renegades made a surprise visit to congratulate Tracy as we gathered in the parking lot. We included them in the group picture, with one of the Renegades, Tod, taking the photo for us. Then, we went our separate ways, reuniting in the parking lot after the hike for a little celebration. How nice to see Rosie with us on just her second AOC hike, and to welcome Mari Anne on just her 3rd AOC event. They both handled the hike beautifully! The other Mike C. is in town for a few weeks, and will join us for our 10th Anniversary hike. He's one of the originals, who was on our very first Thursday Morning Island Ford hike 10 years ago.
