Weather luck was with us once again, giving us a sunny, dry hike after last night's rain. We encountered just a few bikers, which made for little stepping off the trail.

We hiked through both the Sope Creek unit and the Cochran Shoals unit, stopping for a break at the Columns Drive bathrooms before taking the bike trail back to Sope Creek.
