Very hot day on Pine Mountain.  We had 8 determined hikers and 8.6 miles.  The temperature was near 90 when we finished and everybody was tired and sweaty at the end.

On these hot days, hikers should bring plenty of liquids, electrolyte pills or drinks, and an ice towel if they have one ($13 at Dick's Sporting Goods).
