We had a beautiful day for hiking at Bowmans Island today.  The trails were pretty empty today. We only saw a couple of fishermen heading to their favorite spot. We went a little over 6 miles at about a 2.8 mph pace, with about 500 feet of elevation.  We had one silent section of about 150 yards through a serene section of forest, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The jibber jabbering commenced in full when we finished, though. There was lots of talking and laughing today, so I think everyone enjoyed it. I sure did.
