We hiked Kennsaw Mountain as well as the trails in the middle and southern sections of the park on a very hot day.  The trails are bone dry and dusty.  Our group was very strong and determined to complete the hike.

We mostly met diehard trail runners and a few groups that were close to the ends of the mountain trail - Burnt Hickory or Visitor Center.
