We sported a lot of red, white and blue for our hike in honor of Independence Day. We had a great assortment of members, from well-seasoned vets to newcomers (Raquel and Bill).

We skipped the warm-up hill today, and instead stuck to the trails heading to the apartment complex and the lollipop trail.

I guess the pace wasn't too fast today, because friendly chatter could be heard throughout the hike. It's a lovely sound, which brought to mind that we are, indeed, a social club.
