Write Up:
A beautiful day, our merry band easily conquered the rocky trails from Lake Winfield Scott up to Blood Mountain. A fair number of fellow hikers shared the trail, from day hikers and dogs to fully laden backpackers. Surprisingly, we had the top of the rock to ourselves for a short snack break. After that, it was relatively all downhill to the lake. All in all, an excellent day outdoors.
