We had a very hot, very humid, but very fun hike at Island Ford this morning.  We had 15 determined hikers who braved the conditions and completed 5.5 miles in just over 2 hours.  Joyce will be proud of you all.  There was lots of talking and laughing, so I think everyone had a good time.  I know I did.
