Write Up:
This turned out to be the hottest day so far this year, but it once again cooled off a good bit before starting out.   We hiked down a nice wooded trail and then down the Suwanee Greenway....there was a very isolated thundershower that moved right over us but luckily we were right by the McGinnis Ferry underpass and were able to stay under there until it passed.   Otherwise, we would have gotten soaked as it was really coming down.   But we got back on the trail and finished up....the rain had cooled things down even more and we enjoyed a spectacular sunset (see pics).   This ended up being a nice place for a hike so we will do it again soon.
