We had a small but fun group on the hike at Bowmans Island this morning.  The weather could not have been more perfect for a day in August.  We even had a cool breeze while hiking along the river. We covered 6.4 miles with about 450 feet of elevation in 2 hours 13 minutes.  A job well done by all.

We did have one person do their impression of Simone Bile's floor exercise routine ending in a dismount against a tree. All ended up well, though, and we continued the hike. 

We had a nice silent section through a serene area of the park lasting about 5 minutes.  The rest of the time there was plenty of jibber jabber and laughing.  We had a very fun and compatible group.
