As we drove into the Gold Branch parking lot, we discovered the parking lot was full due to left half the parking being closed due to xxx a Georgia Power contactor trimming trees. Two of our members had to wait for them to open additional parking spaces. By the time the remaining two members arrived they had even more spaces open. I thanked them for their had work. We did introductions at the Gold Branch bridge so we could hear each other over the grinder. After this opening the rest of the event was uneventful. We hiked the perimeter in a counterclockwise direction. By the time we got back to the parking lot they were a good distance from the parking lot.

I want to thank Lynn and Art for joining us on their second AOC event and they had to drive from Gainesville to attend the event.
