Write Up:
We had so much fun at Panther Creek Falls.  Because of an ominous weather forecast, we decided to just take the shortcut trail both in and out.   However this worked perfectly and the rain never came or even many dark clouds...just mostly sunshine and a lot of fun playing the water and enjoying the natural beauty of our surroundings. 

Soon after we arrived, some of our "splinter group" began to join us at the falls...a few decided to risk the weather and hike the entire trail.  But everyone made it there safely and we enjoying hanging out, also with the other outdoors group that joined us for about the last hour that we were there.   But many people climbed up on the base of the falls to enjoy the water massaging their backs and necks, and others waded in the cool swimming hole in front.   We had a couple of beach balls to bounce around as well as a special water frisbee that TL Sarah brought along.  We spent about 3 hours at the falls, and then headed up the steep shortcut trail and headed for home...got to do this one at least once more before summer is over.
