  We met by the restrooms to do introductions. It was cloudy the entire hike with a nice breeze and looked as though it wanted to rain, it never did. Overall, it was great weather for this type of hike. The river was low, yet leaves had a hint of color as autumn approaches. We saw a lot of ducks and geese. With the day being as nice as it was there were a lot of people out.

I would like to thank Eric, Jyot, Sam, and Vennie for joining us on their first event; Dan, Jeff, and Kate for joining us on their second event; and Kelly for joining us on her third event; and thanks to the rest of the members for making our new members feel welcome.
