We did introductions in the parking lot. It was a muggy September morning for. From there we hiked around Sibley Pond in a counterclockwise direction. We followed the bike trails part of the way taking a right and headed to the mill, stopping briefly. We did not go down to the front of the mill due to how slippery the rocks were. There was one unexpected place where the trail was almost washed out. I followed the sand flow pattern to the trail. We crossed Sope Creek and started hiking to the end of the one-way trail on the east side of the creek. After enjoying the ruins of the old Paper Mills, we headed back to the to the parking lot.

We want to thank Harry for joining us on his second AOC hike.
