We met in the Visitor Center, after introductions by Jake Boling, Interpretive Ranger at KMNBP, we viewed National Park Service video on Leave No Trace. Following the video Jake explained how these principles applied to Kennesaw. Beth Wheeler, Chief of Planning, Resources, and Education CRNRA, Beth talked about these issues at Chattahoochee. After a quick break we headed outside to a mile and a half hike, stopping frequently to discuss one of the Seven Principles. Tyler, General Ranger, and Beth added to the discussion at each stop. We did get a few snowflakes while hiking. Returning to the Visitor Center for questions before finishing our event.
