Well, we could not have asked for nicer weather for our hike at Island Ford this morning.  It was sunny with temperatures in the 60's. A beautiful day.  We had 9 spunky hikers who travelled 6.2 miles with a little over 600 feet of elevation in a little less that 2 hours 30 minutes, including a stop at the visitor center.  We averaged about 2.7 mph.  It was a very good pace. I think a good time was had by all.

We welcomed Paul on his 6th AOC hike. I hope we see him on many more.
