The temperature was in the mid-60s as we started. Overall, it was a great day for hiking. We noticed that the trail closed sign had been removed. We started at Johnson Ferry North, hiked up Mulberry Creek to Hyde Farm. We stopped, took a quick break and headed for Morgan Falls for a view of the dam. From there we headed back to the parking lot. With the trail now open we were able to hike along the Chattahoochee. We followed the trail until we returned to the parking lot. I went back though old pictures to see when the trail was closed. I didn’t take pictures of the closed sign. Per the best guess of several members on the hike it has been closed about 4 years.
