What a beautiful, if chilly, day for a hike to the highest point on the AT in Georgia, Blood Mountain. 9 hikers took a route to Blood Mountain that seemed magical, climbing almost 1900 feet while feeling gentle the whole way. We started chilly, but never got cold. The predicted wind was not as bad as the prediction, so we had comfortable temperatures while enjoying fantastic views! I can't way to do this one again!
