Twelve AOC hikers checked out Sandy Spring's newest trail called "Springway" today.  A new and scenic section of it along Orkin Lake is almost complete and ready to be open to the public. We received a sneak peak of the impressive boardwalk around the lake. We also hiked around Morgan Falls Overlook Park - which includes both paved trails and trails through wooded areas. Our hike also included scenic views of Bull Sluice Lake and the Chattahoochee River. It was chilly when we started the hike, but we warmed up quickly once we started moving! Four of us capped off the outing with a trip to Dunkin Donuts for some coffee! It was a great day!
