Eight of us enjoyed great weather on Sunday hiking to Blood Mountain, where we had clear skies for beautiful views during lunch before hiking down the gradually descending Slaughter Creek Trail back to Lake Winfield Scott. David was on his first hike with the club (Welcome to AOC, David!), and Deema and Clay both were on their 220th hike! Everyone agreed it was a great hike.
