A beautiful day for a hike, with cloudy skies quickly giving way to bright sunshine. We had a great group, with some newbies and vets, all of whom kept up well with our 2.5 mph pace.

The trails were in good shape, though overuse has certainly caused a great deal of erosion. It was important to keep our eyes on the trail as we made our way around the park.

We got in 5 miles in just a few minutes after noon. An enjoyable event, for sure.
