What a fine day it was for our double celebration today to honor Joy (for her 100th AOC event) and Holt (for his birthday today). Joy was aware of the iimportance of the day, but Holt was caught by surprise as I shoved a "Happy Birthday" poster in his hands. I think he was pleased with the recognition.

The weather was beautiful, and we kept up a very steady pace, ending with over 5.5 miles under our belts. There was friendly conversation throughout the hike - - music to my ears.
