We successfully summited Springer in this, our second, attempt after being stopped by an ice field with a drop off last time.  We even basked in the sun of the comfy, grassy summit for our picnic and yoga (demostrated by Lynn and Alice with a display of runner stretching by Andrea).  The thru hikers that saw the scene were not expecting the AT to be like this.  Talk of this display being precedent for future summits.  Milestones (event count) celebrated included:  Ann 1190, Lynn 350, Andrea 275, and Alice 170.
