We had a great day hiking! Our group was blessed with beautiful weather and we had a fun group of hikers. We hiked 8.5-miles and enjoyed some scenic views along the way including Lake Allatoona and the Etowah River. We had a nice mix of newer members and veteran AOC members on this event. After the hike, six of us grabbed lunch at a great local restaurant called "Fire it Up" BBQ in Cartersville.
