We had a splendid morning for hiking today at Mason Mill and Lullwater Parks. We welcomed Emily and Elizabeth on their very first AOC hike, and Lindsay and Natalie on their second hike. We enjoyed the spring blooms throughout the two parks as well as the emerging spring green leaves on the trees. We had more stops than usual so we came in just a little under five miles for our two hour hike. The stops were worthwhile for talking about the ruins and history of the two parks.  A lovely morning all around.
