Well, as predicted, we had an absolutely perfect day for hiking at Jones Bridge CRNRA this morning. How do I do it? It was sunny with temps in the 50's and 60's and no wind. The hike covered 5.8 miles, with close to 400 feet in elevation, in just over 2 hours. Job well done, folks. We had 14 well suited hikers that were all able to maintain pace and keep up lively conversations along the way. We gave a special welcome to Laura, on her 5th AOC hike, and to Yvonne and Robbie on their very first AOC hike. The downed trees had all been cleared away and the trails were in very good condition. At one point, we saw a bunch of deer. I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time.
