The Gold Branch loop is one of my favorites because most of the hike is along the water or has beautiful water views.  Five ladies joined me on this last minute hike and we had beautiful weather.  The hike is short but somewhat technical because of erosion along the banks of the river. Just enough elevation to get our hearts pumping.  I will definitely do it again.  See two photos in album.
