It was a very warm morning, but we slowed the pace, got in just over 5 miles, worked up a sweat, and had fine hike. No stragglers today, not even our newbie Marcio, who proved himself a very capable hikers. We were happy to have Gen back for her 3rd hike, and Laura F. join us today on just her 6th hike. Everyone kept up friendly conversation throughout the hike - - music to my TL ears.

There were plenty of turtles in Hewlett Pond today, a definite sign of warm weather.

We hiked just a bit over 5 miles, which seems to be a sweet spot for this group. Going at a super fast pace in warm weather just doesn't make much sense.
