Congratulations to Claudia for completing her 500th AOC event today at Sope Creek. Our 5 mile hike was great with pleasant temperatures, bright sun, and an occasional welcomed breeze. The trails were dry, and we didn't have too many cyclists that we had to step aside for. We traveled through both Sope Creek and Cochran Shoals. We had a bathroom break at the Columns Drive mid-hike.

We were happy to welcome a newbie to the AOC - - Mary Jane - - who was a very friendly conversationalist and even joined us for the after-party to celebrate Claudia's milestone event.

Thanks to all who stayed after the hike and who contributed refreshments! I think Claudia was pleased! ~ Joyce
