Write Up:
We had a good little hike at Island Ford..it had cooled off a bit but still high humidity.  But we took it easy and enjoyed the river views and a few short hills...saw ducks and deer and squrrels and frogs, etc.  We hiked on most of the trails in the park but didn't get to explore the newer one....but hopefully will return soon and check that out as well.
