Write Up:
Eight brave souls decided to find Lost Cove - brave because there were quite a few yellow and black postings warning us of bear activity.  Ralph checked - and bear activity meant bear sightings in the camp areas.  I think a few of us were a little spooked - but not enough to not do this trip.  Perfect weather, Carolina blue skies, warm days, and a cool night.  We all enjoyed - well except for maybe Kim - the hike into campsite 90.  Kim will never eat another sausage biscuit before the hike.  Great views from Shuckstack (crickety) Tower and lovely clear stream water to cool your feet and other aching joints.  A nice toasty marshmallow and campfire stories (truth or lies).  All followed with nary a bear sighting - thanks Pawan - and we were back to the cars - a nice shower - and headed home.  Another happy weekend done well!  Thanks everybody!  See you on the trails!  Ralph & Ann
