Write Up:
We had an enthusiastic group of 14 enjoying a gorgeous day. Sunny with the temp in the mid 40's and no wind. It was so nice that we decided to add a few miles so we hiked over to the Army Core of Engineers visitors center. Unfortunately it was closed so we opted to hike over to Cooper's Furnace to use the facilities. The only trailhead I know of that has running water and flush toilets in a heated room. Got back in plenty of time for whatever fun we had planned for Saturday night. See you on trail soon.
