Write Up:
It turned out to feel more like a late winter's day than an early spring one but we still had a very good hike....Yonah never seems to disappoint, despite the conditions.   And while we were robbed of our sunset and moonrise by the overcast clouds, we did enjoy the cooler temps, especially on the steep hike up.    And we got lucky with the lack of much wind on the summit area.  We were able to hang out there for about 45 min while we enjoyed the views to the south.  Then we headed down right before dark and no headlamps or flashlights were required.  After a very satisfying meal at a local eatery, we headed home....a good trip but will have to get back up there again soon..
