Write Up:
Good solid afterwork hike today with a fun group.   The temps started out on the warm side with many of us in shorts.  But got comfortably cool before long.   It was unusual how high the river was...Lake Lanier has been at or above full pool, so guess they are letting extra water out from Buford Dam. 

But we did about 5 1/2 miles and saw some heron and quite a few deer...always fun.  We finished up right as the park was about to close...so always good to squeze every bit of daylight out..and quite a bit of twilight as well.   Good one and will do it again soon.
