Write Up:The weather forecast was ominous and kept a few people away, but it ended up being a nice cool cloudy evening and we enjoyed exploring the park once again. We tried to identify a few wildflowers (mostly unsuccessfully) and also saw a lone deer grazing in a clearing. We've seen them at this park before, but not very often so it was a nice little treat.
For something different we left the park at the far end and hiked through a neighborhood to Duluth Hwy 120 and then walked all the way back, finishing just as it was becoming really dark. So another fun hike and hopefully we'll be doing this one at least a couple of times a month through the rest of the spring and summer.
