Write Up:
We had a great turnout of 18 folks for the Island Ford hike late this afternoon.  Chelsea, Katie, Gabby and Shadow provided four-footed company for the group.  We had a bit of excitement toward the end of the hike as a host of yellow jackets stung some of the group. Hopefully Jacquie M. and Lauren J. will not suffer too much discomfort tonight. At the same time, Chelsea caught a baby rabbit and was reluctant to give it up, but with a little persuasion, we were able to rescue it and put it in a safe place with hopes it would reunite with its mother.  Welcome to Karen N., who had her first event with the AOC today!  We're glad to have you with us.
