With rainy weather threatening, we dwindled to 7 members for the Kennesaw Mountain hike this morning - - but it turned out to be a perfect morning for being outside.  The skies remained overcast but there was not a drop of rain.  We took the base trail around to Pigeon Hill and then crossed the mountains - - a different route from the standard ascent up Kennesaw from the Visitors' Center.  Thanks, Chris, Jean, Pepsi, Connie, Jenn and Barbara for making my second solo hike so enjoyable.  We all really liked meeting Ellie the dog, too!  You were a splendid group!
