Write Up: We had a bit of excitment at Vickery Creek this morning! A couple of ladies in the group (we were all ladies except for Chris Hill!) suggested we take a path back to the parking lot that runs across the rock cliff - - a trail your fearless leader had never hiked. Always open for new trails to learn, I had them lead the way. The route was great - - not a problem at all for careful hikers. It was, however, a challenge for the six dogs that were with us! A couple of the pups willingly submitted to being carried, and the others were grateful for an encouraging shove along the way. When we finally got past the cliffs, we notice a posted sign for those coming from the other direction that warned hikers of the dangerous rocks. Oh, well. . . We all had a great hike in gorgeous weather, and covered almost 4 miles before noon.
