Oh, it was an interesting afternoon!  We inadvertendly took a wrong turn and ended up close to dark at a parking lot far from the one where our cars were parked.  Pepsi and Joyce hitch hiked with a very nice couple in a truck back to our lot (a couple of miles away) and drove Jean's car back to fetch her, Lemmy, Shadow and Gabby.  We ended up hiking much further than we intended . . . but all ended well.  Uh . . . except that klutzy Joyce tripped on a stump and got a bit banged up.  Good thing that she fell onto Pepsi, who joined in the fall.  That helped save her head from injury. The group couldn't have been a better one to get lost and injured with!  It was really a great afternoon.  (Lemmy ended up hiking 13 miles in his two events today!)
