Write Up:

A lovely group of 19 hikers joined Joyce and Sam for a roughly 5-mile set of two loops and an overlook path at Pine Mountain in Cartersville Saturday afternoon. Those who had cameras had plenty of opportunities for photo shoots/outdoor modeling. Views were had by all of a colorful, but cloudy sunset. Because we arrived at the summit a bit head of schedule, the group decided to head back to the cars before total darkness.

Post-hike at Trackside Grill did not disappoint. Crab cakes were served and the smooth sounds of the KSU Jazz Ensemble were enjoyed by about half of the original group. Thanks to all who made this such a fantastic afternoon!
