Write Up:
Eva led this afternoon AOC hike at Island Ford, and I was happy to co-lead with her. It was a sunny, cool afternoon - perfect for a brisk hike along the Chattahoochee River and surrounding woods. The light faded fast, but not before we spotted lots of wildlife. There were abundant birds (woodpeckers, wrens, chickadees, cardinals, geese, etc.), and we saw a group of about 6 deer twice.
