Write Up:
Lemons were turned into lemonade today, much to the delight of the two AOC groups groups hiking the Smith Creek Trail to Anna Ruby Falls (and back). Laura and Joyce's group was scheduled to start their hike an hour before Laura and Scott's group - - but due to a bit of an error in getting to the correct parking lot (Laura and Joyce have egg on their faces!), the two groups were forced to start their hikes at the same time.  With a total of 13 members in one group and 11 in the other, our two groups combined, with some fast movers up front and the rest following behind.  We met for lunch when we all reached the falls and then retraced our path back to the cars, ultimately meeting there to caravan to a delicious Bavarian feast in Helen.  It was a gorgeous, sunny, cool day - - one in which all of us thoroughly delighted!
