We had perfect hiking weather Wed afternoon and our jovial group of ten had a great time together at these beautiful creekside parks in NE Atlanta.  We  ventured off the main trail and boardwalk to explore the numerous side trails that loop around the sinuous bends of the creeks - even "rock-hopped" over one of them to access the new Ira Melton white-blazed loop trail.  It was fun having hikers of all experience levels with us including Missy, Kit, Joyce, Lisa and Merrilee who who are newly active in the AOC and my friends Armin and Allan who are among our Club's most avid and seasoned adventurers.
